Mint Launches - A new exciting way to manage your money

Today seen the launch of a new money-managing application called Mint. Always being one to jump on the bandwagon, I signed up and created an account.

The "look and feel" of Mint is very aesthetically pleasing, and they have combined a clean interface with some great AJAX enhancements.

One problem I had when creating my account was that only US zip codes seemed to be accepted. I would later find out that this means the site is really only geared to US residents for now.

Once you have created an account, you are taken straight to a setup page where you can add your bank and credit card details. This is perhaps the most amazing part - you provide your bank login details and then Mint downloads all your transactions into your Mint interface daily. This is very cool - but.. also a little concerning. Ofcourse, the Mint privacy policy is very adamant that your details and data will be kept secure.

I was unable to use this feature as my bank(s) weren't listed (US banks only at the moment). However, the application looks very promising and I can't wait to see what is can do.

Have you tried Mint?
